Abstract
This paper considers the increase in the number and forms of co-operation in the health and social care sectors in various countries. This paper examines some of these approaches to explore the impact on the identify and functioning of such co-operatives, access to employment and working conditions, general levels of employment, broader expectation of health and social care systems.
