Anita Mangan

Anita Mangan became the editor of the Journal for Co-operative Studies in January 2023. She works at the University of Bristol, in the Department of Management. Her research is broadly themed around social justice in organisational studies. Her main focus is on co-operatives and credit unions as alternative forms of organising which offer a counter-narrative to austerity, marketisation, and the rise of precarious work. She is also interested in union co-operatives, community activism, and volunteering processes.
