Plunkett UK changed its name in 2024 from the Plunkett Foundation and remains a key national charity supporting rural community businesses across the UK.

Community businesses are owned and controlled by community members, with membership open to anyone at accessible prices, and all members have equal and democratic say in how the business is run.
