This important one-day conference will focus on the co-operative movement's role in promoting a healthier, more democratic economy in Ireland. The conference will feature a keynote address from the President of Co-operatives Europe, Giuseppe Guerini.
The event will also include the launch of Co-operation between co-operators: A policy briefing for Ireland by Patrick Doyle (University of Limerick) and Tiziana O’Hara (Co-operative Alternatives). This document offers policy recommendations drawing on a series of workshops and events that have taken place across Ireland in the past 18 months and offers some lessons and directions for action for policymakers and co-operators in Ireland.
